Šibenik, one of the oldest cities in Croatia, holds historical significance and is often referred to as the King Krešimir IV town. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Notably, Šibenik was the first city in Croatia to embrace electrical power, showcasing its progressive nature. Nestled in Central Dalmatia, it benefits from a Mediterranean climate and ample sunshine, making it an idyllic vacation spot. Positioned on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, the town’s fortifications, strategically situated on nearby hills, provided an ideal defensive position and control over sea traffic. The Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral of St. James, a masterpiece crafted by the renowned sculptor Juraj Dalmatinac, further adds to Šibenik’s allure.
